"Hands on" sailing instruction with an experienced sailor. You will be in control of the boat at all times with helpful guidance from your instructor. The boats used for this will be either the Laser 1 or Hobie Wave. This way of introducing people to sailing has proven very popular over the years at Ahoy Rentals for the following reasons:
Flexibility: Choose a time that best suits YOUR busy schedule
One-on-one Learning: The instructor gives you 2 full hours of his/her attention to teach you, answer your questions and monitor your progress
Time: Learn the basics of sailing in only 2 hours
This will allow you (given favourable wind conditions) to bring a friend down and take them out to experience the joys of sailing.
